The Prime R1T-S tweeters feature Mylar balanced dome construction that ensures wide dispersion and clear soundstage details. Install a set in your vehicle, and you’ll enjoy vibrant highs that add excitement to your music without grating on your ears. Built-in high-pass filters ensure a smooth audio response, so these tweeters will reproduce your highs faithfully.
Installation note: You’ll need a pair of our universal backstraps to install these tweeters in the factory locations.

Overview: The Rockford Fosgate Prime R1T-S is a dedicated tweeter system featuring a lightweight Mylar dome. Multiple tweeter mounting configurations allow flush, surface, and angle configurations.
Mylar Dome Tweeter: The Prime R1T-S features a lightweight Mylar dome tweeter for high sensitivity and smooth extended frequency response. This low distortion material allows accurate reproduction of high frequencies for an open sound stage.
Crossover: The R1T-S tweeter has an integrated 6 dB/octave high-pass crossover fixed at 4,500 Hz.
Mounting: The Rockford Fosgate R1T-S provides multiple mounting configurations. You can choose a flush mount, surface mount, or angle mount installation. You can further angle the tweeter once installed in any of the included mounts.
